In one of them, go to your Steam directory located in either C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86), locate your Starbound Install directory and find the instrument assets located in ~\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starbound\assets\user\songs. The point of midi/abc files is to have a file that tells the game which instrument plays which part of the song. The point isn't to play the entire song on one instrument. It would sound like garbage if you do that. mp3s don't code each instrument on different tracks. They're just a single mixed track. They're just a waveform. If you want to change the sound to something else you want, replace the audio file nested in the mod folder with another .ogg audio file (File extension important) and rename it to dancebound.
I havent found a solution anywhere. Kind of frustrating but I have no sound my audio is fine on my laptop, youtube, netflix, spotify all work etc. I go to play the game which I just started playing after having had download for months and there is no audio The audio settings are all set to a 100 in game. This assumes your corrupt character was the most recent one you’ve accessed. If that is not the case, and you’ve used one or two characters after that, then the files you want will be one or two jumbles further down. Sort by date accessed, and the most recent one should be the first one. These files will be jumbles of letters and numbers.
